The Dog House Pet Resort Is Not Your Average Dog Boarding Kennel

We are a one-of-a-kind, all suite pet resort designed to keep our guests happy, healthy and safe. Unlike a traditional dog boarding kennel, our state-of-the-art facility was custom constructed with the comfort and happiness of you and your pet in mind. Our spacious accommodations allow your dog plenty of room to run and play instead of just sitting inside all day.

 

Our focus is to provide each guest with individualized care and attention and to provide the kinds of experiences your dog wants and needs. From the moment you call us, we’ll take the time to learn everything we can about your four-legged family member so that we can help you customize a fun-filled experience.

Our resort offers all of the amenities you would expect from a 5-star hotel, with rates and activities customized to meet the needs of your pet and your budget. Our suites are available in a variety of sizes and enhancements to ensure the enjoyment of every guest, regardless of size and personality. In addition to suite size you can also choose from private or group playtimes, bedtime stories, individual cuddle sessions, homemade gourmet treats, and more!

Specialized Care

Our highly trained staff understands that some of our guests may have special needs and you may have some special requests. We are ready, willing and able to accommodate almost every circumstance and are especially experienced with elderly and disabled pets. 

 

What to Bring

It is very important to us that your dog is safe, comfortable and happy during their stay.

Food changes or a lack of familiar surroundings can create unnecessary stress. For this reason we require you to bring your pet's regular food and treats and some familiar items from home.

• Please bring your pet’s food either in individual ziploc bags containing each meal’s portion. (For stays longer than one week you may bring their food bag/container with feeding instructions attached.) In case you forget your dog’s food, or their stay is extended, we can provide house food for an extra charge of $5 per meal.

• Any medications your pet is currently taking with care instructions attached.

​

• Your dog’s suite has plenty of space for personal belongings, so feel free to bring any toys, blankets, etc., that would make him or her feel comfortable while staying with us!

• Please refrain from bringing beds. food and/or water bowls as they are provided for your pup during their stay!

Need to check-in on your furbaby?  

You can easily check in on your furry family member throughout the day via our Facebook page. Our Canine Coaches post videos and pictures of the play groups all throughout the day.  You’ll see firsthand how attentive our team is with your baby.

Holiday Hours

Although we have a complete staff caring for our guests every day of the year, to allow more of our employees to enjoy time with their families, our front lobby is limited to Sleep Over pick-up's between 12pm and 4pm on the following holidays:

Guidelines for participating

Before staying with us, our team will need to complete a "Behavioral Assessment" to determine if your dog can participate in an open play environment or will need one-on-one play. We make sure your dog’s play style and sociability are compatible with the appropriate playgroup to provide the consistency that every dog needs to feel confident, safe and most importantly to have fun!

In addition to successfully completing our behavioral assessment, all dogs sleeping over must:

• Be at least 3 months old

• Be in general good health

• Have written proof of up–to–date vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella

• Be spayed or neutered — Puppies under 6 months of age are exempt

• Be on a Flea Preventative:  (The staff at The Dog House Pet Resort will give all incoming pups a once over before playtime or boarding to ensure they aren't bringing any unwelcome guests in. Should we find any of those pesky vermin on your furbaby (or any hint of flea dust) we will administer a Capstar pill to your pup for $5.00.) Capstar is a pill that when ingested, kills fleas within 30 minutes. It is not a preventative against fleas; it only kills the fleas that could currently be on your dog. It does not interfere with any current monthly preventative you administer to your dog, nor will it cause any complications with any medications your dog is currently taking. The staff at
